Your portrait session includes a Get to Know You Session, where you meet your photographer and discuss what you visualize for your portraits before you come in for your portrait session. This gives you a chance to get to know your photographer and allows you to feel more at ease in front of the camera. Taking the time to meet and develop a creative relationship is the key to creating a unique portrait that brings out your personality.

What do I wear?
Simple and comfortable! By staying with the basics for your clothing selections the focus is on you and not what you are wearing. Solid colors are best. Try to avoid logos, lettering or distracting designs. (Unless of course it is your company logo)
Is there time for an outfit change?
Yes! It’s great to bring 2 or 3 outfits to give you a variety of images to choose from; especially if you are going to be using your portraits for several different mediums of promotion or advertising.
What is the best location for my portraits?
This is completely up to you. Your workplace or office is a great way to showcase what you do. If you want to keep it simple; in studio or a simple outdoor background is perfect.
How long is the session?
Usually the sessions take about 1-1.5 hours. If you have a tight schedule, a great set of portraits can be done in less than 30 minutes (we just won’t have time for outfit changes).
How do I schedule a Get to Know you Session?
Just call or email. The session is usually 20-30 minutes. We discuss all the details of your session; the location, the time and date, your vision for your portrait, what you will wear, etc. We also discuss where you will be using your portraits, as this will greatly affect how we compose your images.
